Se trata de la tesis doctoral de la investigadora Cristina S\u00e1nchez Quesada que ha sido dirigida por el Dr. Jose J. Gaforio, con el t\u00edtulo ESTUDIO DE LAS PROPIEDADES ANTITUMORALES, ANTIOXIDANTES E INFLAMATORIAS DE LOS PRINCIPALES TRITERPENOS DEL ACEITE DE OLIVA VIRGEN UTILIZANDO MODELOS EXPERIMENTALES CELULARES DE MAMA. En dicho estudio se han descubierto dos elementos dentro de los componentes minoritarios del <strong>AOVE<\/strong> que\u00a0son el <strong>uvaol<\/strong> y el <strong>eritrodiol<\/strong>. Estos ayudar\u00edan a frenar y eliminar sustancias cancer\u00edgenas en el c\u00e1ncer de mama .<\/p>\n<p>This monday we had the opportunity to meet a new research from the University of Ja\u00e9n related to Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Health at Entreolivos program. It is the thesis of the researcher Cristina S\u00e1nchez Quesada which has been directed by Dr. Jose J. Gaforio, with the title STUDY OF ANTI-TUMOR PROPERTIES, ANTIOXIDANTS AND INFLAMMATORY OF VIRGIN OLIVE OIL`S MAIN TRITERPENES \u00a0USING EXPERIMENTAL \u00a0BREAST CELL MODELS. In this study \u00a0two elements have been discovered \u00a0within <strong>EVOO &#8216;s<\/strong>\u00a0minority components that are <strong>uvaol<\/strong> and <strong>erythrodiol<\/strong>.
